Now, we also come to see that Remial is very weak in comparison to the other angels in the Tower of Salvation. He's perfectly okay with everything that happens, colette leaving on a journey that means certain death, not being colette's father (even though he is, or so we think).
I think there's more to it.įrank has the ability to heal you to full health early in the game, that's pretty impressive, considering Raine can't even do that until very late in the game. I recently started up my millionth playthrough and I found myself wondering very similar questions, I want to think that the whole "born with a cruxis crystal in colette's hand" is just a false belief the weirdos of iselia believe in, but assuming it's true. Either way you cut it, that's pretty weird.Īnyway, I realize I'm thinking way too much into this, but it's a bit irksome when you think about it. In any case, someone put the crystal on Colette while she was still in her mother sometime. So, does he actually believe that Remiel impregnated his wife? And if so, what does that imply about Colette's mother and Frank's current position? Is the reason he is so passive in game because he was so passive in his marriage while his wife ran around on him? Is that why he is so keen to believe that Remiel literally had an affair with his wife? Perhaps Frank really isn't Colette's father after all, and maybe she was running around on him with other men, and so he easily believed Colette was Remiel's son.
You don't know, because you never learn much about Frank. Like, either he is going along with everyone and willing to lie to his own daughter about being her father, or he himself actually buys into it. Frank even starts calling Remiel her father. Everyone starts calling Remiel Colette's father. All you do know is that someone somehow got a Cruxis Crystal onto Colette before she was born.įast forward. She could be dead or she could have left Frank you simply don't know. You never see Colette's mother, you only see Frank.
Like, Frank is a really under-explored character.
